  1. Iโ€™ve had this Temple of Bloom tree about 5 years, and absolutely love it! The bark is awesome, especially when it gets bigger!

  2. I had the same trouble with my willow, for the first couple years I would prune the long branches back by half in the spring

  3. I love gladioli but I canโ€™t put them in my garden beds bc all the wee babies drive me crazy. Love them in pots tho. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. I ordered a Temple of Bloom directly from Proven Winners last summer and it was itty bitty and grew a little the first year, but this spring it is on the move and I am training mine on bamboo stakes. I'm in 6b but I'm super excited to see how yours grows in that zone.

  5. Janey will you help me find out more about how far gladiolus are supposed to be away from green peasโ‰๏ธ I just planted some glads near my veg garden and read online not to plant them near peas or beans. So of course I had just planted 15 on the opposite row one foot from where I will be growing peas! Separate beds but only one foot apart.

  6. I just noticed the power line. I hope it runs outside of your property. Iโ€™m in Georgia and the lineman cut any foliage near them and some trees get butchered.๐Ÿ˜ข

  7. With the willow straps could you double the tie around the posts to make the height of them more secure other than having to nail it which may cause eventual damage to the straps with wind movement?

  8. What about your drip?? We are holding yoou to your commitment to put drip in right after you plant and not waite Till later and it does not get put in. You will be glad you did it a long the way when the heat comes and it is around the corner!!!! . ๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. I planted a Seven Son Flower tree last year and so far it's doing good here in 7a PA. Also the weeping Willow trees do get massive with an aggressive root system. Hopefully those power lines above are not too close to the tree.

  10. Love your videos.
Here is a fun idea for you and the your girls.
Just seen this this morning thought of you right away and had to send this your way.
On โ€œApril Garden Tour YouTube at the 0:45 mark into her video
she has a idea on how to help way down Willow branches and pretty upping the garden.
Just an idea to show you not that you have to do it.
    Have a great week.

  11. For the gladiolus, they will bloom in secession this year, but will they next year when they return?

  12. โ€œ Robbieโ€ looks so much better! I wonder if trimming the branches back would be beneficial for the trunk, and help it to thicken up? ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿฃ

  13. I planted a seven son flower tree in 2022 and it was puny and sad, but it is glorious now! Im so happy to see someone talking about it!

  14. The willow does look better strapped but my first reaction was " That poor tree, I feel bad for it. Then you said the same thing. I do think you did the right thing for the tree it will look beautiful when it matures a little more.

  15. I would love to get a good wood chip drop but I have no idea where I would keep it until it ages enough to use as much.

  16. The skid steer was not loud in the video at allโ€ฆon most YouTube videos, we the listeners donโ€™t hear as much as you all doing the filming!! Looking good in your garden!!!๐Ÿ‘

  17. Jason for husband of the year award. I would buy you a beer Jason. Thank you for your videos Garden Master Janie.
