My two-week-old jarrarium brings me so much joy that I would like to share some pictures. The sand, water and plants come from a Central European lake. Although it is by the window, it doesn't get any direct sunlight. The water volume is 1,7 litres.
The plant species at the back grows so quickly and tall that it probably won't last long without pruning. Does anybody recognise the species? One plant almost looks like it would grow more on land, but so far it is doing well.
The little creatures inside are very cute 🙂 I even spotted underwater spiders which is so cool! Unfortunatly no snails have turned up yet. I will look for some small ones tomorrow. Last time I only saw grown up PHS which are to big for this jarr.
There seem to be some eggs and I am curious if and what will hatch.
