Do black roots = dead roots? (Peperomia cuttings)
Do you guys think these roots are dead?
These have been propagating for a while now and I was going to plant them, but then I saw the state of the roots! When they are black, does that mean they are dead? I’ve propagated many times before and have been successful but these peperomias have been struggling since day 1. I wouldn’t be too sad to part with them – so, do you think I should retire them?
Any tips and advice is appreciated!!

Cut the bottom black off of the right stem. It’s rooting from above so you don’t need that part.
