Plant Propagation

Help – 1st time when can I pot them?

The root is growing big and it starts to stick out of water for most of these

  1. Common wisdom says transplant when the roots get to at least a couple of inches and/or grow their own branching baby roots. The bigger the root system when you transplant, the better chance your plant has to thrive. If the roots are out of the water because of evaporation then top up; if the roots are out of the water because they’re growing in that direction, don’t worry about it – the entire root doesn’t have to be submerged and they should find the water. Patience young grasshopper! [Note I’m also fairly new at water propagating, but have been researching heaps and have been having success with my plant babies]
