So I tried to propagate mint, basil and rosemary. I used test tubes and a grow light. The mint and rosemary bases turned brown, smell pretty bad, and no results. However, the basil is growing roots!
I put them in, the next week I changed the water and realized that u should’ve cut the base sideways to make it easier to get water. Essentially starting over, but I did it. Then, I filled the water as it evaporated.
Is basil easier to propagate? Because they were all under the same conditions. How to prevent base turning brown, as the basil is starting to brown a little
