First, T-posts are the clear option because they won’t rot. Thus saving you money in the long run. Second, if you’re not made of money, there are a lot cheaper ways to trellis up tomatoes than a t-post for every single tomato.
T posts do matter though if you have big plants and get a lot of wind. I use 9ft T posts for tomatoes, but can also get away with using top rail to reduce the number of posts required

Cool
Does the direction of the hooks matter
Why single stem? Whats the benefit? And can all tomatoes grow this way?
Each tomato has its own t post?

I prefer the local outdoor market over the t-post 😂
What if I'm staking determinate tomatoes? Since the plant is smaller and it's for a shorter period of time
Me, too!
