Oh yeah, might need to pull it out and clean any root rot but absolutely salvageable. Worst case you could chop it up and propagate it to get new roots. Monstera are pretty easy plants to save

Agree with all of the above plus maybe he just needs new soil? Definitely worth $10…at the worst you could prop him and get a bunch of new plants.
