Just pop it in a pot and add soil so all of the bare nodes are covered. Then give the soil a good soak. These guys are the epitome of chill. You don’t even have to root them in water first. You can just take a cutting, add it to soil, and water as usual. They do get spindly, so give them a regular pruning regimen to keep them bushier.
