Context: Hello! Would love some advice propagating a rubber tree fir the first time.
Cut from the top of a mature rubber plant tree that was 4 feet tall. This limb was about 12 inches long and strong. I cut above 4 leaves on the bottom and then tried the diy greenhouse method.
Damp soil, leaves rolled, covered in a plastic bag in indirect light for about 3 weeks. Kept soil moist. I took the bag off and a week later the stem looks like it’s starting to strival. The tip that looks like growth was there from the original cut and has not changed since this process started. Is this a lost cause?
