What zone are you in? Pothos is considered invasive in many places where it can survive outdoors. I’d be very wary of planting it in the ground without further local research.

I’d wait a little longer. I’m so cautious I wait 6 months to pot up: I like more roots. Lol

I usually wait until the roots branch (so when the roots in your picture grow their own roots).
