String of Plants

My first String of Hearts (pink variegation); not sure how to care for her…

I got her pretty recently, but she did get a little banged up on the flight back. I’m not really sure what the best care for her is, and even though she has a new leaf (right corner of this pot’s area), the leaves seem to be wilting.

I water her when the soil is mostly dry, keep her in a well lit area (6-8 hours of plant light), and the pot she is in is one that can drain.

Should I repot her? What’s some first time advive?

These are very prone to over watering as most succulents are. Set her out in morning sun gradually this will help the soil to dry out. Watch the watering they like to dry out. You can also mist her with a spray bottle to keep the soil from getting too wet. Make sure you have it in a small pot with a drain hole. Good luck 👍

You can make the tacco test before watering. If you can form the leaves into the shape of taccos very easy it means the plant needs water. If the leaves are still hard or at least not soft enough to do so it means there is enough water inside the leaves. String of hearts thrive of neglect. Put her in a bright sunny place and forget about her and water every few weeks and that’s it

Edit: how much sun depends on the place you live and how intense the sun is there.
