Well I tried to graft a bridgesii scion to this browningia but it failed. I probably just did it wrong or the humidity got to it but can anyone confirm they are in fact compatible for grafts? I tried to search it but came up empty
The raised bits on the vascular ring are what I look for to see if my graft will be successful. They make it way more difficult, and I’m probably at 50% success rate with them. I try to stay away from grafting to older growth and instead let it pup and graft to that

Browningia is much slower than SP so I probably wouldn’t bother. I also noticed browningias can be kinda finicky while grafting

I haven’t tried or seen anything, but I will and can report back.
I think the issue you had was your root stalk was moving towards the woody side.
