  1. Lost my apricot (well maybe she does have a few leaves), who knew they didn't love wet and we went from drought last year to very wet this year. Lesson learned, don't put apricots near drip lines. 😆

  2. Wrong Interveinal clrosis can be caused by many things not just iron it can be any secondary trace elements. Like manganese boron iron sulfur maligdium calcium phosphorus.

But 90% of all this is not from a deficiency in your soil. But most likely a change in the PH level locking out those trace minerals. But this is not directly related to iron. Just because you add iron to the soil and see results doesn't mean that's what it needed. It just means you changed thing back to normal and probably hlnow have too much iron in the soil and shouldn't eat any of that fruit because of heavy metal toxicity

This looks more like it is having a phosphorus issue then a iron issue.

  3. Great video, Luke, thank you. I always love learning new stuff from you. ❌⭕️🙏🏽♥️

  4. Be more specific about the water you add. You don't add city water or well water you want to add either RO WATER OR DISTILLED water. That way you know the starting ph of the water is 7. And not changed with chemicals from the city or ground Reservoir

  5. Instead of adding more heavy metals just use sulfur period. Not iron sulfate not aluminum sulfate. Just sulfur. You already have the iron in the soil now your over doing it just to get some sulfur to change the ph.

  6. I see more chlorosis happening in my pot plants however I don’t know what and how much to add in them to clear up the problem. Help!

  7. Your videos are a pleasure with you sharing wisdom in a lively positive manner! Thank you, and it was a pleasure to finally be able to visit your store and shake hands with the legend. I'm surprised how your voice in person is congruent with recordings, and you skip around your shop positively just like the videos. Many blessings to you and yours Luke!

  8. What an interesting mystery “illness” of your plum tree. It was very impressive that you figured out the cause and the deep root treatment makes perfect sense. As a physician scientist, I particularly liked this video! Please don’t take this as criticism, because it is not intended to be. I merely want to pass along the pronunciation of the word “chelated” is actually “KEE-lated” rather than “tchee- lated.” It might help someone ask for or find the correct type of iron to ask for.

  9. A tree, or plant does not have to be unhealthy, for pests to go on it. If you do not treat, or protect, or do both whatever you are choosing to grow then pests can go on it because what you grow is in their natural habitat! I do not think it matters if your trees, or plants are healthy, or unhealthy, for pests to want to go on it.

Regarding what you think the problem is why the leaves turn yellow well I think it could be 1 of 2 different problems. Maybe you are correct about what you think the problem is regarding the PH level, but according to what I read on the internet I think it could be a watering problem that your tree has.

Regarding myself, I have not seen any of my plant leaves turn yellow yet when I overwatered it, and this is what I read on the internet why leaves turn yellow. My plants died when I overwatered it, and I did not see any yellow. I guess you either have a watering problem, or soil problem.

  10. Appears I may have a similar plum problem. Our lot was filled with cement rubble before our home was built. I never would have known to check for this lime/ph/iron issue or how to remedy it if it weren't for your video, Migardener to the rescue again👍!

  11. My Butterfly Bush, which I never grew before, is putting out small buds. The leaves near the base is yellowing…not sure if there was any spotting. I see no insects, caterpillars, etc. It's grown quite a bit. We're having high 90's here (near Chicago, zone 5). I just put out sun shade over the tomatoes. Could this be heat related or something else? Thanks

  12. Good info. I don't care where you live in the city in the desert if a person lived on it before you have no idea what they may have poured or put into the ground. I'm glad you were able to figure out what was wrong and that you're able to amend it

  13. Omgosh my new property the whole yard is filled with concrete chunks from basements 😵‍💫 I’m already having HUGE problems with slugs, chipmunks and well almost everything you can imagine maggots eating bean seeds there has been no end. We just got our beds in and planted bc it took so long to level the beds out with the concrete everywhere and now I watch this 😭

  14. THANK YOU SO MUCH for explaining so well, the challenge for newbies to understand how to assess the problem in gardening as well as plants. I love how you detailed instead of many others saying oh it's chlorosis so just add iron without explaining the ramifications. Again, thank you, you're best. Blessings . Namaste.

  15. Great information!!! I've noticed that one of my new Golden Currants has a knob at the top of the young plant where the leaves are all growing in a cluster. I don't know if this is normal, but it looks odd to me and now I'm going to check to see if the edges of the leaves are yellow. The good news is that they're still in their nursery pots, so if this is an iron and/or a pH issue, hopefully it will be improved when I plant them.

  16. It’s like he’s in my backyard looking at my garden and telling me how to fix the problem. He thanks for the tips.
