A contingency plan turned out to be inspiring – English Garden Tours #VLOG

Our weekend didn’t go quite as planned. We headed out to our favourite car-boot, but it was cancelled! However, we made the most of our trip by visiting some stunning English country gardens in a picturesque Norfolk village. These gardens were beautifully designed and full of inspiration, perfect for any garden enthusiast.

we’re heading out to a car boot well that didn’t go quite to plan right so the day hasn’t gone as planned this day is just conspiring against us a little [Music] different hat welcome it’s Saturday and we’re heading out to a car boot we’ve got a full house today so I’ve got Mark and then Rowan somewhere in the background we really weren’t sure whether this one would be on because on Facebook they post in the evening whether it’s going to be on and the rain has been horrendous this week and I don’t think they updated Facebook until about midnight but anyway the sun is out it’s on so off we go [Music] [Music] well that didn’t go quite to plan we’ve just arrived and apparently it was cancelled about about 40 minutes ago um which is when we left off because it’s about a 40-minute journey to get here I would imagine that people started turning up and the field that it’s in was just too wet and was being ched up so they’ve canceled it what should we do now we’re heading to a cafe to come up with a plan but for now I think we’ll pop into a couple of Charity shops just to see what they’ve got let’s have a look we’re currently in ale which is a beautiful Northfork Town here’s another charity shop this is a pretty little ginger jar made by Masons £150 I haven’t had any luck today I don’t think there’s anything I want to buy that’s okay though right now let’s go to bread 1. Such a shame the rain put an end to the lovely day out. Great to see all the places you visited. Sophie

  2. Thank you for taking us with you. Such a shame about the car-boot being cancelled – the lovely English weather strikes again! But it made all those lovely gardens so green and colourful. xxx

  3. Beautiful gardens and homes! The bread looked delicious. Did you have a piece of beard with asparagus and cheese sauce? I wasn’t sure but it looked so yummy. Thank you for taking us along.❤️

  5. Greetings Louisa , the open homes garden walk was really nice to see how others attend to their gardens. bet the nicest part was just sharing time with your family! I wanted to ask you if you have a name for your home? I have been wanting to do that for years , however I can not make a decision about the name , haha. Blessings Paula

  6. p.s. I wanted to tell you I waited many many years for a garden shed , and working at the high school , I supplied the materials and the woodshop teacher had the students build me one!! hugs Paula

  7. This is a nice video. I loved where you went but I have to say, I can't believe when I watch your videos that you get caught in the rain. It's happened more than once. Don't you check the weather report before you go? You plan the outing but don't plan for the weather? No umbrella, not even a spare one in the car? What's up with that?

  8. The village and gardens were beautiful such a shame you got rained off it seems to be a theme at the moment I had a similar day yesterday , the Antique centre I walked 40 mins to had closed and not updated the website, the cafe I then headed to was also closed so I toured a couple of charity shops after buying a bottle of water and at least came home with a picture frame and a vintage book ! 😊❤

  9. One of my favorite channels( whipperwill holler) mentioned you and how much she likes your channel YTube And that you like her style because her style looks like your style!
