First attempt at propagating. How far should I fill up the glass of water, above or below that node? Did I cut too small of a piece being an eager beaver? Also, why were my leafs starting to get brown spots? Any and all advice welcome! 💕🌿

Above the node
Just pop it in there. It’s not that deep.
You’re overthinking. Just put the cutting in water.
Either or. It doesn’t matter, just keep the leaves above the water
