Hi all, so at my work was two giant monstera plants that needed some TLC, I asked my manager if I could take a cutting from one and she said yes, will this propagate? For the size of this plant how long will I need to let the roots get?? Should I prop in water or go straight to soil?
Thanks, any tips please help, I’ve only successfully propped pothoses in the past but I knew I had to get a cutting of this ginormous beauty!

You may want let the cut end dry out a bit before water propping, I lost one identical to this recently from rot when vase propagating and I’m assuming it was because the surface area of the fresh cut was too large.
