I’ve had this Ficus Audrey for over a year now & despite shedding leaves at the base, it’s been doing well & I’ve even noticed new growth. Just saw this this browning on a top leaf which is unusual this morning.
Can anyone help me find out what’s wrong?! 🙁
Did I overwater??
I water this one (& one other ficus Audrey I have) once a week by flooding the pot with a bunch of water. It’s worked well for a year but this past time I was worried about the AC in our room drying the air out more so went a tiny bit more water than usual. Is that what caused this?
The plant gets bright indirect light.

I’m hoping for answers on this as mine does the same thing.
Looks like spider mites
Spider mites. Use lukewarm water and a soft cloth and gently wipe all the affected areas. If you feel like you need something stronger then use rubbing alcohol. Take a 1:4 mixture of alcohol and water and again use a soft cloth to gently wipe the affected surface. You can also use a pyrethrins pesticide. Its gentler than other chemical pesticides.
