Hi! I just built this terrarium today with moss and a random plant i grabbed, it also has a drainage layer and charcoal. I included the mycelium from a mushroom to help with decomposition issues?? (not sure if this will be successful.) There is also an isopod, one scarab beetle, and five (glass?) snails. I'm not sure what they eat so i threw a pepper in there out of curiosity. I know I needed some sort of decomposition animal to help the ecosystem, will these snails help? I couldn't find any springtails despite digging in mulch for a few hours.
I'll absolutely remove the snails if there's too many,, I don't want to be cruel to them.

Get ready for the plant to be chomped down by snails
It’s really not a large enough container for anything other than springtails or dwarf isopods. Humanely, at least.
My five year old says seventeen.
