I’ve had my OD for about 3 months and today I discovered some tiny pests that look like Bowser from Super Mario Bros. It’s a brown oval center surrounded by white spikes all around.
There were about 15 on the branches and I managed to get them all off. After further googling seems like they could be either wax scales or immature ceroplastes.
Have you ever dealt with this type of pest? Can I use typical indoor plant pest control remedies for my operculicarya decaryi? I’m not finding much info online, so any advice is appreciated!

Dunno what that is but a good ole dishsoap and water wash and systemic insecticide treatment will help
