24 days ago I decided to airlayer Albus to make a fuller pot and try to encourage more sectorial variegation. Root growth is faster than I expected, but I’m a noob. All three prop cups have roots with secondary roots. I don’t think it’s enough roots to cut yet, will keeps this going for a few more weeks.
FAQs.
Why did I chose perlite?
Because I am moving my plants over to semi-hydro and the transition from perlite to PON or LECA is seamless.
How often do I water the cups?
I use clonex clone solution (5ml/liter) and mist it with a spray bottle once a week.
What’s next?
I’m going to let Albus (yes his name is Albus) do his magic for a few more weeks. I’m looking for a robust root system and not in a hurry to chop.
Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciate 💚

Looks great! Wish i had done this not all my props worked out. I’m doing something similar to semi hydro but the substrate is 70% coco coir 30% perlite. I think this ratio makes it very difficult to get root rot.
