Help! New Anthurium Crystallinum parent – why is the leaf wrinkly?

HELP – Anthurium Crystallinum wrinkling but also putting out new leaf

New plant parent! I bought this Anthurium Crystallinum from a home grower about a little over month ago (see last photo – photo 5)

Ever since I got it, I immediately repotted it from its original plastic pot into another plastic pot thts similar in size but in a soil-perlite mix. It put out a new leaf around 1 week in (see photo 4). I know now that I should have waited. I watered it about once or twice a week. It gave me a new leaf (photo 4).

Then I read that a very airy mix with minimal soil is better so I repotted it again after another week (2 weeks after purchase) into a perlite and bark mix with minimal soil. Since then, I water it every two days and empty its tray except for a few days last week when I experimented watering everyday and leaving the tray with a little water. I noticed a leaf yellowing after a few days (photo 2) and immediately stopped and went back to watering every 2 days and emptying the tray.

The leaves started wrinkling ever since it got to me with the first new leaf extra wrinkly (photo 1). It is putting out its second new leaf though (photo 3).

It is sitting indoors facing a floor to ceiling north east facing window. I am staying in south east asia so its hot and humid all year round.

Is it acclimatisation? How do I fix the wrinkly leaves? How can I make it happier?

Water every 2 days is way too much , you are overwatering . I water mine 7-10 days and it’s in very chunky airy mix . You should feel the soil if it’s dry or not
