Plant Propagation

Peperomia propagation help

So I chopped off 3 stems from the watermelon peperomia and they’re doing good(or at least I think they are)
But I’m starting to wonder at what point do I plant them, and in thinking soon-ish but my main concern is.. how to plant them.

Do I plant the leaf and stem that started the propagation?
Do I chop it off and only plant the roots and new babies?
Should I put the whole thing under soil?
Should I only put the roots under soil and let the baby leaves breathe?

I’ve tried looking it up but it seems like most people propagate by chopping the leaves in half and sticking them in soil, and I tried that and they died.
These seems like they’re doing good and I would HATE to kill then by planting them incorrectly.

TIA to anyone with answers!

  1. The one with a ton of roots has been ready to be potted up for a while. I would plant it so the baby leaves protrude from the soil about 1/2 inch. Just keep the medium moist for a week or so to transition from water and you should be good.
