Horticulture Terrariums

Will this work for non-succulent plants?

If I don't want succulents in my terrarium, would this kit work out fine? The soil is also infused with activated charcoal.

    Hey proamateur0904

Did you know succulents have adapted to grow and thrive in areas with limited water sources, dry periods, and bright direct light? Most terrarium spaces are the exact opposite of that which can cause terrariums to fail! If it’s your first terrarium don’t fret, we have a list of resources to help you build a successful and happy terrarium!

I’m genuinely confused by this product. I don’t think I have ever seen moss and succulents go together as their biomes are completely opposed to one another. One generally likes high humidity and will increase the humidity in the area while the other will rot fast in a high humidity environment.

Ignoring the succulent book, this looks like a good starter for a terrarium (assuming the soil isn’t super sandy and you already have an enclosure)

Edit: thinking about It some more, I guess some mosses can work (like sphagnum). But I wouldn’t risk it really
