What could be the cause? Thanks in advance for any advice or reassurances. Just moved to this home and am worried for the tree. In my backyard fairly close to the house.
Have you had a drought recently? Have you changed anything around the tree? Walkways, patio, excavation, etc?

Tulips tend to have a few leaves turn yellow pretty early in the season, especially if there are drought conditions. Under normal weather I start to see yellowing leaves in August
