Sheep’s sorrel/red sorrel – Useful edible or Satan’s weed?! #sorrel, #foraging, #allotment, #Scot

I think this is sheep’s sorrel (red sorrel), and some people forage for this but in an allotment it is a nightmare. It spreads everywhere and will completely take over if you let it. You can see how it spreads with those springy roots that wander quite happily wherever they can. Forager = great…free food but gardener = WEED!!

if you find this in your garden get it out I believe it’s some sort of spreading sorrow but if you look at this see that it just spreads everywhere it’s horrible it’s Satan’s weed as far as I’m concerned get it out it will cause you nothing but grief there’s more stuff hate this stuff
