Here's my first attempt with water from our pond. I'm probably really close to 2 weeks now. I made a mistake when I first did it and broke up all the substrate so for the first week it was basically muddy water. The first plants I put in died so I swapped out some of the water with clearer pine water and added another plant (the sick looking one in the video). I seen to have gotten some snails, some kind of flatworm and a bunch of mosquito larvae (a lot of those have changed to mosquitos and are dead in the water) but not much else.
Suggestions?
Dump it and try again? Let it go and see what happens? Should I add another plant that's healthier? I've got a grow light on it 12 hours a day but only had that for the last few days.
