  1. what do you do to organically control earworms on corn? they're giving me a lot of problems with my sweet corn and I've heard the worms can overwinter and give you problems the next year

  2. Grow 45-54 plants in a 3'x3' area… got me 2 garden grow towers with compost bin think they're still around $350 each but they're great and i used covid money to buy em and i used food stamps to purchase my seeds and plants… now i just save seeds from my harvests to replant (cilantro, peas, beans, squash, spinach, and a spicy arugula I've had since starting my garden) this year I've added a blueberry bush, raspberry, German thyme, dill, rosemary, basil, tomatoes, potatoes, red romaine, broccoli, collard greens, and bell peppers… i also use other containers because where i am I'm not allowed to plant in ground and in a 13'x13' area i have well over 200 plants thriving amongst the milkweed i don't pull for monarch butterflies altho the caterpillars like my garden i just go out and pick em off and throw them to the birds in the wild blackberry patch… i also have toad houses I've placed too try and encourage the roads to stick around… i have a few containers i use to catch rain water to keep the water bill down and i get bull frogs in them once in a while, i have a pin cherry tree in my yard that's infested with lady bugs and in the spring early summer I'll collect the larvae and put them in my containers… need a cheap effective method for pill bugs… can't even begin to count the number of plants i lost to them this year.. good thing i grow way too much of everything example i started this year with 85 squash plants in total who needs 85 squash plants that ain't a farmer???? Im hoping to produce enough that i can put a table near the road and put fresh veggies with no fertilizers or pesticides out for free…. my goal is to be able to grow enough to help 3 different household my dad's, my sisters, and my own… my dad's because they do a lot of canning, my sisters because she houses me for 8 months for free while i was on probation and not allowed home and my own because life shouldn't cost so much and i really hate the concept of money… which is why i do a lot of "in kind" work (work in exchange of goods or other services) i hope everyone who took time to read this ramble has a great day
