We MOWED and Cleared a JUNGLE in This Family’s Backyard for FREE!

A family in Oklahoma is renting their house. The agreement is that the landlord will maintain the front yard and the family is responsible for the back yard. Money has been tight for the family and they haven’t been able to purchase lawn equipment or pay to keep the back mowed.

So the backyard got out of control and it was time for Lawnster to step in. We mowed and cleared a jungle in this family’s backyard for free to help them get it back under control. This yard was extremely overgrown and this transformation is insane. Enjoy!

well hey yeah do you want to show us what what you got and uh woo okay we definitely we definitely have our work cut out for us yeah this is a doozy look at that hey buddy how’s it going Hey Jake how are you I’m doing good man so you know how I was telling you we have that YouTube channel yeah um I know you guys need to get the backyard cleaned up and I was thinking about it the other day and when we were over there uh uh working on the stuff we were working on I thought you know we could come clean up your backyard if you’re willing I mean if if you uh would be okay with us like filming for YouTube yeah 100% man yeah we drove around today we drove around like all morning looking for a yard and we knocked on doors and we were just not having luck and I thought about it I thought you know that backyard is really bad that would be a crazy transformation and I know like it would help you all out right now cuz uh I just I know how expensive everything is and stuff so yeah dude that would be wild that’d be crazy yeah okay I would I mean that’s very generous yeah okay sweet very cool awesome dude well thank you so much I really appreciate that that’s a really uh that’s really cool us what what you got and yeah it’s uh it’s been man since not even it’s been like two summers so it’s been mode oh two so two years yeah oh my goodness yeah I uh I I bought a little like $40 Sling Blade off of it’s about this big off of off of YouTube and uh I cleared off just a little bit so my dog get Ed bathroom but I couldn’t afford did like this is going close so do you not have mowing equipment or I did at one point I don’t anymore that’s a spider nothing I I uh no I don’t really have any M Equipment uh it’s all done through the through the uh you know the landlord the front yard at least yeah yeah but you’re you’re responsible for this yeah these uh Rambles oh my gosh yeah this is going to be it’s going to be a projecto okay yeah it’s uh I I really appreciate this because I don’t know how I I don’t even know my only plan was to let let winter happen yeah and just let let it let it die off Let It Die well hopefully we can get it cleaned up to where you can maintain it and uh and it’ll be a little easier awesome um and we’ll just since big junk day isn’t for a while we’ll we’ll make a big pile and then we can haul it out for on big junk yeah yeah cool cool so yeah it’s pretty wild I mean those are those aren’t trees those are just weeds yeah you know what I mean yeah yeah that is pretty wild it’s not even that’s not even supposed to be I don’t even know how this thing gr we definitely we definitely have our work cut out for us yeah yeah we’ll we’ll get to it get it cleaned up and then you’ll be good and and hopefully uh once we get it all mowed down and everything then it’ll basically just be mowing over it so it won’t take anything yeah too crazy so well good luck appreciate it we’ll get we’ll get busy thanks guys absolutely this is a doozy this one’s going to be sticky because there’s all these little stickers everywhere look at your arm Austin oh no oh man okay so here’s the situation guys last week we called the tenant of this house that we mow we’ll show you the front of the house uh when we get back we’re actually headed to go get gas right now and um so the tenant is responsible for the backyard the uh landlord keeps up the front yard and so we actually mow the front yard and we maintain the the uh hedges in the front um so the front always looks good but they’re a young family and uh life just got busy and uh sometimes money’s a little tight and so they they just didn’t have the equipment that they needed to take care of the yard and it just very quickly got out of hand and uh once it gets out of hand it’s just hard it’s hard to get back under control unless you have some uh uh bigger equipment so Jake was telling us he he tried he bought a little like hand some type of like hand uh cutting device online and it it didn’t work for them so we’re going to try to get it back to a level where they can can maintain uh with just a uh a regular push mower um and so yeah that’s our project for today we’re excited to not really like I’m not really like a person who like an outdoorsy person you know what I mean well once it gets crazy it’s just hard to and then it’s like extra cash and it’s extra time and you know and everything is so expensive nowadays it really is you I can’t thank you enough this is insane hey seriously this was a this was like a giant giant weight awesome I’m really glad to hear that like I was thank you guys I I I wouldn’t have gotten done other I don’t know how I would have gotten it done you know what I mean yeah cuz I mean and like the labor you guys worked super super hard out you were like and and like you pick the like the hottest days of the summer too like it just just start broke broke like 100 oh my gosh yeah it’s it’s uh it’s been pretty brutal but uh we were definitely glad to be able to help out it worked out it was it was definitely a God thing because I think everything happens for a reason and like I the whole day I was thinking well I know I know Jake needs some help like I I I had seen the backyard at that point and I was like you know let’s just give him a call so we went back and uh while we were eating lunch that’s when I called you so it worked out perfect I mean I I would say it’s a God thing well you know I really appreciate it man yeah I really appreciate it it’s uh a huge huge burden a huge weight I’ve just been I’ve been so overwhelmed by it I haven’t I haven’t like wanted to like mess with it I hav want to think about it you know what I mean well really when it gets when it gets to that point it’s just it’s like where do you even start you know but this is crazy well thank you so much for letting us do it we really appreciate it Jake I appreciate you man really huge just feel like super relieved I’m I’m happy for you I’m proud
