I saw this golden pothos in a café growing up a coco pole. The plant was crawling up the pole, and the leaves had become huge. I thought this was only possible with a moss pole. It didn't seem like the roots had spread into the pole, just attached themselves. I thought the leaves only became bigger when the root system expanded.
This is in Norway, so not high humidity or temperature.
I'm just curious about what is going on. Does anyone know how this is possible?

Nah, coco pole works for me. It’s just got to have its roots securely attached to something.
