  2. Ok. Haven't watched yet… but the title on this video is hilarious! 😂
Watched! Very informative, Thank you. I'm planning on a fall planting I can grow well into winter 7b/8. Is there a variety that does better with August germination growing into the winter? I have Early Jersey Wakefield, Early Golden Acre, Golden Acre (not early) Red Acre, Savoy, Copenhagen, & Red Rock Mammoth.

  3. First year planting cabbages and something has devoured all of them! Hoping this video helps.

  4. Our cabbage is growing and heading fine, however the outer leaves are so big we're barely able to keep them contained In the raised bed, We made Screen dome tops for them so the cabbage moths don't get to them and that has been working awesome, my question is, Is it beneficial to trim the outer leaves?

  5. Great tips. In relation to tip 4, would the later heading varieties do better or worse for an area that grows them over the winter? Does the same beginner logic hold true?

  6. I made the happy "mistake " of planting my cabbage with comfrey. My cabbages are very happy and healthy! Will definitely be doing this again!

  7. Is this true for Brussels sprouts too? I have 5 plants that are not heading yet. The leaves are somewhat cupped but not forming balls yet. Will it take until fall or should they be already? I'm wondering if adding used coffee grounds will help.
