Yeah, I’d just say consider some kind of cover on the front so when someone eats it, they don’t bite stone

It looks better, but this is how a kid loses their front teeth

I know they make foam blocks, could the top row be foam blocks?

Looks nice. Looks VERY painful.

Tell us you’ve never shot a layup without telling us you have never shot a layup.

Is the brick work good? Yeah. Would I put bricks around a basketball hoop base where people commonly fall and trip all over the place? No.
This would be like lining a wrestling room with retaining walls or putting pavers around a soccer goal.

First slam dunk with a full swing and that’s gone

I would think about extending the pole or getting a different one and putting it in the ground with concrete for all the work this took

Those are pre cast blocks used for retaining walls or fine to make use of them for a “planter” type structure like you did. Just be aware there they also make top caps for the top row that give it a much more finished look and those caps will be continuous on the top without gaps…gives it an even cleaner/ finished look

Damn! Danger Ball.

No!! Mulch volcanos kill thousands of basketball goals per year. You need to let the base ✨breathe✨
Radiant_Medium_1439
Why put dirt in it though?

I think it looks great! Well done!

Unfortunately this is a flawed concept. It’s fine for practicing free throws or jumpers but I wouldn’t let kids play 1 v 1 on this
