I started my very first chicken compost pile a few weeks ago with a tarp. I went to turn it after a few days and when i opened the top a bunch of mosquitoes popped out. I covered it back over and ran. Wondering if i have now ruined it 😮
What kind of tarp are you using there? Canvas? First year chicken caretaker here, the deep mulch in the coop is ready to be changed out. Excited to have some compost in the future! Thanks for sharing
