From my farm to your home. ๐Ÿก

My name is Kaleb Wyse and here, you will find delicious recipes, videos from my farm, garden, and fun home projects. My knowledge has been earned from years of home cooks and farmers in my family. https://wyseguide.com

A farm is much more than a house to live in; itโ€™s a lifestyle. My passion for gardening and landscaping came from outdoor work with my mom in our expansive farm yard, my love for baking came from innumerable short walks to my grandmaโ€™s house to make cookies, and as a farmer, my dad taught me that we are the stewards of our land.

So whether you live in a city center or have decided rural life is for you, I hope to inspire you with the projects and recipes I use in daily life. We canโ€™t all live on a farm, but we all need farms in our lives. From the dirt in my vegetable garden to the flour in my kitchen, Iโ€™ll show you everything I love to do.

  1. Next year try beneficial nematodes. I applied them 2 years ago and hardly have seen any Japanese Beetles this year.

  2. I have Japanese beetles and they especially love my beautiful pink Drift roses. That is how I get rid of them too Kaleb. Where did those things come from?

  3. Oh you know what would look killer. slightly larger but square posts o the front porch maybe even stained wood instead of white ?

  4. my mom always put Palmolive detergent in a sprayer that is attached to a water hose. The bugs hated the taste and left the plants/fruit/vegetables alone. If it rained, the garden would suds up and she would respray after the plants dried off. Worked really well and to this day I follow her lead.

  5. Thanks for sharing Kaleb! Your vision and hard work has paid off and I am impressed and LOVE it. Well done! You must be so proud. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

  6. Amazing is all I can say! Your garden and gounds are magnificent, and I actually felt like I was there in eastern Ohio when viewing this particular presentation! Thanks!

  7. Amazing tour. I love how Kaleb mostly relies on perennials for his garden. It is more efficient and sustainable, more natural ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

  8. ugh, I had those beetles really bad when I was growing asparagus, so they would get on my cucumbers, too.

  9. First, I'd like to say I love watching your videos. Just a gentle reminder that we love watching the progress, and I get wanting projects done, but you two should give yourself credit for the incredible progress you've made. Don't wish your days away. We love watching each step. Thank you so much for sharing.

  10. Glad I found your channel. Iโ€™m in NE Nebraska. ๐Ÿ˜†๐ŸŒฝ Everything looks great!!

  11. What a lovely tour Kaleb. Wow, all your hard work is blooming! So beautiful. You are blessed to have such a gorgeous wide open space to live in and enjoy.

  13. What a beautiful yard you have, wow, your garden shows how much you love doing this. I love your videos. Kaleb I have watching your videos for quite awhile, I love your christmas shows, those are my favorite. You are so talented. You always put a smile on my face. You make it like we are actually walking with you through your beautiful yard. Your doing a great job my friend.

  14. Beautiful garden!!! Thanks for the tour! Love, love, love the willow chairs! You should use more of that style material in your yard! The chairs look so natural.

  15. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Your gravel path is so ambitious, and I love it. I have 2 acres and am going in the meadow garden style with select conifers for punctuation. I have to keep it low-maintenance. happy gardening!

  16. I live in San Diego, California and I love watching garden tours from the same time of year around the world. It's so cool to see which plants can grow in different zones and to see some plants I've never heard of before. Keep the updates coming! Japanese beetles are a constant battle in my neck of the woods!

  17. Just curious as to when your Nepeta flush out new growth? I trimmed mine back about 3-4 weeks ago and nothing yet. Kind of disappointed!
