I have this piece of snake plant that ive had in water for a couple weeks, found it on the ground. I see today that theres this clear spot on it, and i took it out to snip it off and let it callus again, but then i saw theres little nubs of roots starting finally…what should i do?

It looks like its starting to rot.. i would cut that off and start it in soil.
When i am rooting snake plants.i typically prepare my soil by wetting it down.. cut the pieces to be propagated and let them callus for a couple of days and bury them about 2″ deep in the damp medium.
