Plant Propagation

Can she still be propagated??

Long story short, while moving from my last appt, thought all of my plants were w/ my brothers gf but one (mother of thousands/chandelier plant) had accidentally gotten packed into storage with the rest of my stuff. I found it there a week later and immediately watered it the next day before leaving for work. I repotted it when I got back bc even before getting packed away, it was struggling in a low drainage soil. The picture next to it is a healthier mother of thousands (the one that actually made it to my brothers gf, was already taller than the one in storage).

I honestly don’t know what to do?? Is she gone or is there any way I can still propagate what I have now (am tempted to cut up the stem with what’s left and planting in soil). Let me know plz!!

I would suggest r/succulents for this post. Yes you can chop and prop. The wiki has good soil guidelines and the people have good experience

Yeah, it’s super etiolated right now. I would cut ✂️ 1- 1/2 inches below the upper leaves, let the end callous over a day or two and stick it into soil slightly gritty soil for drainage. Just keep the rooted base as is, it should branch out after awhile. Once the prop is rooted gradually place it in sunny window. If it starts to stretch again, bring it outside to full sun.
