I wasn’t aware of this plant but as I searched about it it’s Euphorbia milii, the crown of thorns Christ’s thorn native to Madagascar. But I can suggest you an app for plant identification – [Plantora](https://plantora.app/) helps in identifying any plant, fruit, leaves, etc you check out this app and identify any plant for confirmation.

Crown of thorns are very very thorny. There is a thornless variety as well.
The genus euphorbia also includes E. Pulcherrima aka Poinsettia, and E. tirucalli aka Pencil Cactus.
The genus is known for having a white sap containing latex, which can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes.
