I have this flower in my flower bed but have no idea what it is. It makes these huge seed pods and spreads like a weed. Looks really nice when flowering though

Hollyhock! A biennial, the first year it’s a small rosette of leaves, it’s taller the second year and blooms. (There are a few varieties that are perennial and flower year after year.) They come in a variety of colors, white, yellow, red, pink, maroon like yours, and even one that looks black.
