Vivarium

First vivarium, thanks all!

Ive been building this vivarium slowly since the start of 2024.

As i had 0.0 experience I did a lot of reading on reddit for the many questions i had. And the many posts where shit has hit the fan have helped me prevent most of the rookie mistakes. (I think)

Info:
60 x 40 x 60cm
Bio active with springtails and isopods, shrimps and snails in the water part.
Selfmade background covered in elastopur and cocofiber with a build-in waterfall.
False bottom to seperate the substrate.

I covered the outside glass with leather to block the back of the background look.

In a month i will add 3 mourning gecko's.

So for everyone still here i do have a question remaining. My humidity is rather high. After the night always 80% which drops to 60% when i dont spray.

Sounds all good for a mourning gecko but i do need to water the plants. Which will raise it to 90+% and it wont drop till the next morning at 80%. So my guess is ventilation.

Best solution? Do i add a fan to the bottom to push air in. Or add one to the top to suck air out?
Any other tips are always welcome!

Ive added some build pics for your entertainment and again, thanks all!
