Just got a new fence because of both my dogs and the Air BNB next door. The AirBNB is about to finish renovating and start renting and we are cool with it but needed a divider but still wanted to keep our views of Lake Michigan in front and back. We also lowered the other side so our neighbors didn’t loose their views.
How did they (contractors) do? How much would you have quoted? (We are happy with what we paid but wanted a this is what you should have paid for future reference).
Cedar, they removed a smaller picket fence prior.

Looks sharp.
It’s beautiful.
Beautiful. I’d love that style. Out of curiosity, how many thousand dollars does something like that run?
Ya’ll are so nice! Thanks for the nice comments!
Very nice!
Downloaded for later if you know what I mean.
I really love the hand rail on the hinge side of the gate – it looks really nice.
Looks perfect. The points where it elevates are perfect spots to install cameras pointed at your neighbors gazebo, deck, and yard.
I like it! It looks super smooth and like it wont give you splinters (which is always a plus).
That top rail on the gate, cut to fit the fence at the hinge, is clean as fuck. Love it.
The gate is an engineering success to say the least. Marvellous workmanship.
28k though jesus, wouldn’t pay half that for similar in the uk
It’s lovely!
Gorgeous, dang 🤩
Looks awesome
What’s this style called?
Love it!
Bonus points for the dog!
Man look at that gate!
You paid premium but you got premium, good work!
It’s great but it’s time to plant a wildflower garden.
What kind of warranty do you get when you pay 28 grand for a fence??
I really like the horizontal look. Nicely done. I wish my HOA would allow that.
It’s beautiful.
Can see why u kept it low in the front- what a lovely view. Are you by the sea ?
