Being absolutely ignorant about plants, I assumed there was only one type of lavender!
I was so disappointed to see my lavender bloom for only about 6 weeks, while the one around the corner (in the picture) has flowers literally every day of the year.
I did some research and based on the look of the leaf, it appears to be some sort of french variety? But when I researched the french lavenders, many of them bloom only for a few months.

The leaves have a very unique pattern: [https://i.imgur.com/qVKApdN.jpeg](https://i.imgur.com/qVKApdN.jpeg)
Any help would be appreciated!
Probably french lavender, leaves are identical.
So a variety of French lavender
Try looking at the Spanish varieties— nice crests on a few.
Lavandula dentata – French Lavender (common name in Australia).
The “true” French Lavenders (L. stoechas, L. pendunculata) are sometimes called Italian Lavendats in Australia.
