Hopefully this gift link works. I really enjoyed this article and it made me eager to visit the High Line again and see how the plantings have matured. I’m curious about encouraging and installing more natural plantings (not just native plants, but a more natural style) and reading about their management practices – including summer pruning – was pretty interesting.

That Piet Oudolf is a matrix planting genius and no matter where you’re located, your area can benefit from native, ecologically sound and beautiful natural plantings.
