Second year in a row and the coons keep coming after our popcorn plants. We are pretty limited in our area as to what we are allowed to do (no electrical fence, no fencing over 6', need a permit for the dumbest things). We had pumpkins planted next to our corn last year and they left the pumpkin side alone but not the more open side. Not sure what we can do or just consider it a lost crop this year?

Three big dogs.
Duke dog proofs, 220 bodygrippers, and .22lr.
Eat more raccoons. Baked in BBQ sauce or battered and fried.
Havahart and a .22 long rifle or 2 to the head. Bait the trap with a few ears of the corn they ruined. If you peel it they will find it more attractive.
Electric fencing
Why can’t you have an electric fence. ?
We use an electric fence
I feel your pain, just had 4 of my corn plants decimated by an animal just like this
Pew pew, new hat. Coolbeans.
Coon hounds ,dog proofs and .17 hmr or a .22 magnum…even if you don’t run hounds I am willing to bet some guys near you would love a chance to ride you off coons I know I would maybe feel it out on a local area sporting board
