Been propping this dracaena in water for months now and am finally moving it over to some leca(main roots not shown, theres way more). I was cleaning off some dead leaves first and i see these yellow bumps…wtf is that? Was it trying to root there before it found the right place? Should i be covering it further than i was going to to cover these or is leaving it exposed ok?
It has new leaves growing from the top after it got a lot of roots, so its not like it died in the middle

Those will become roots. I always find them on aloe Vera plants once you strip back any dead leaves to the base, will often reveal these “nodes”
