I’m dealing with this now. I could not keep up with hand pulling, so I mowed real low and sheet mulched. Now, when I see one come up, it’s super easy to pull out… and I have a nice looking mulched area that I’m going to plant a bunch of trees in in the fall.

I have explosions of the same grass/weed. Was thinking it was Crabgrass, but not sure.

Stilt grass. You’ll need to pull them or apply an herbicide for larger affected areas, preferably before they seed (yours are in seed, so you’ll have them again next year regardless). Consider a pre-emergent next spring for a little suppression if they’re in your turf, but you’ll still need to pull. On the bright side, they’re easy to pull.

Can you pull off 2 or 3 seedheads and post an in focus pic with a neutral background?

Looks like dallis grass unfortunately. Invasive.
