In ‘21, I began the process of removing our front grass yard. The success has come from focusing on soil health and planting seeds, bulbs, and cuttings from my loved ones' gardens.
When I started this project, I discovered that everything under the grass was impacted clay. I took a gardening class and turned to Reddit for advice on my other questions. With the help of composting and worms, our soil eventually became nice and loamy.
Now, I mostly let the birds, bees, bunnies, and other creatures take care of the rest!
Thank you for looking! I hope to inspire others to ditch their grass lawns and create something beautiful instead.
