    Depends on that you are grafting. Thats mammillaria on the right and echinocereus on the left, to my knowledge they are only suitable rootstock for other cactuses of their own genus.

    Yes, any cacti can be grafted onto any other cacti, although the closer related the rootstock and scion are, the more likely the graft will take. You’ll also see higher chances of success if both the rootstock and scion are actively growing. If you use these, I’d expect the growth rate to be slower than it was with the pereskiopsis.
