Bought this monstera adansonii cutting online and it’s shipping this week. They started it in water 5-7 days ago, but I typically prefer to prop in soil. Is this still safe to do?
Bought this monstera adansonii cutting online and it’s shipping this week. They started it in water 5-7 days ago, but I typically prefer to prop in soil. Is this still safe to do?
I don’t see any roots yet, wondering if it’s okay to switch methods after it’s already been started for a bit. I usually prefer to use rooting hormone and stick em straight into soil, but I don’t want to shock this lil buddy either. I’ll grudgingly do water if I have to.

I usually start them in water as soon a they start showing growth I put in soil and something over the top to prevent drying out.
