i think we can all agree that getting a hoya to bloom is a struggle so personally i like collecting hoyas with more interesting leaves so that i don't get bored of it while i wait for it to bloom.
my sigillatis is one of my top fave foliages because of its insane splashing and pink/burgundy leaves! drop your top favorite leaves because i'd love to add more interesting hoyas in my collection 🙂

I’m new to Hoyas so I am mentally not even at the flowering stage so the ones I have are all for their foliage 😂
But it is hands down Sarawak. I love the big ones. And how the new leaves are inside out. And their color. And freckles. It’s really a perfect plant

I actually had a plant-friend bring this up to me today. It’s not so much about the blooms, if you’re lucky they last from a few days up to a week. The joy comes from watching the plant flourish. I hadn’t looked at it from that perspective until she mentioned it, now there’s a whole new respect for it!
Hoya Carnosa. Usually under grow light but this summer I put it in a north west facing window with sheer curtain and got this massive leaves. At first I was never awed with its leaf but recently, I begun liking it. Especially the small splashes and the little dark vein coloration. Also how glossy the leaves are under spotlight!
