My Monstera looks pretty wild and unkempt h like the ones I see online. It’s also going to be difficult to move when I have to move out of this apartment. I think it would be best to propagate it, but I’m worried about damaging the plant in doing so. If I should propagate it, what’s the best way to go about doing so?
There are several area routes that are quite long throughout the plant. Ultimately, I’d like a huge Monstera with huge stems and leaves. Not sure if I want these little offshoots everywhere though. Please help!!

My grandad just taught me to leave 2-3 leaves from the mother stem. The ones you cut will develop roots in water. He has 2 leaves I think and they’re very big, and he cuts the small ones so the energy is focused on them. I’m not sure if this is helpful at all
