Roots came out soooo fast

I found this century plant baby outside, off the soil in extreme heat. Probably fell from somewhere. I brought it home to see if I could give it life and in 3 days the roots started popping out like crazy!! This is literally 10 days after (found on the 3rd). I'm really sad I don't have a before picture but the roots look so good and healthy.
